Dawson Creek is a city located in the northern interior of British Columbia in Canada. It is part of the Peace River Regional District and has a population of just over 12,000 people. It is known as the “Mile 0 City” because it is the starting point of the Alaska Highway, which is a 2,232 km road that begins in Dawson Creek and ends in Alaska. The city is also well known for its outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, and skiing. The nearby Williston Lake, which is the largest man-made lake in the world, is also a popular destination for tourists. The city has a vibrant cultural scene and hosts a number of festivals throughout the year
