Bremerton is a city located in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. It is situated on the Kitsap Peninsula, opposite Seattle across the Puget Sound. The city is home to the Bremerton National Airport (PWT), which provides air service to the greater Seattle area. The city is a popular tourist destination due to its waterfront location, numerous parks and recreational areas, and other attractions, including the USS Turner Joy, a decommissioned US Navy destroyer.
